Kafka

Vic, Catalunya

Formed at the turn of the decade from the 80s to the 90s and disbanded before the end of the millennium, Kafka was a Catalan group strongly influenced by post-punk, goth rock and new wave bands, especially English, although they had other references such as the Catalan band Kitsch or the Madrid band Parálisis Permanente. Later they also incorporated grunge and industrial rock influences. The group had two formations, where the second was the one that managed to capture the ideas in the studio and also capable of transferring them to the stage. Officially they only released a self-released tape - and duplicated domestically - although they recorded a second album that has never seen the light of day (...) and some demos. This recovery project aims to highlight the quality and immortality of their repertoire and honor the memory of Eduard Masuet, bassist and an immovable piece of the two stages of the group, who sadly left too early.
