Isolated Gate are English (now based in Japan) multi-instrumentalist / songwriter / producer Ian Masters (from the famous Pale Saints on 4AD and also Spoonfed Hybrid, ESP Summer, Friendly Science Orchestra, Big Beautiful Bluebottle, Galactic Embrace, etc.) and Australian electronica musician / producer Tim Koch (on CPU, Ghostly International, Merck, U-Cover, deFocus, DataDoor, Aural Industries and also on Mahorka as part of the bands Dolphins of Venice and Takamu + some remixes as himself).
