A fictional 70’s noir Jazz night road trip. The B Roads is the alias of multi-instrumentalist John Paul Turner mixing jazz, folk, minimal and blues to create impressions of middle age middle England. The BBC Late Junction show named his album ‘Senseless acts of beauty’ as “One of the most ear catching records of the year” with recent albums and singles receiving BBC and international airplay. Ivor Novello winner Joris de Man says The B Roads are "Off-kilter, original, and refreshing” music that “constantly keeps you guessing”. Based in an ancient Military Barracks in the exact center of England, their album – ‘Anywhere you want’ is the crossroads meeting of Post Rock and Jazz folk. Mostly instrumental, as usual, atmospheric and laid-back, with lush arrangements and songs of hypnotism, love and recognition, on the endless road going anywhere you want.
