"I wanted to make something that combines my love of jazz with my obsession with classic rave tunes by legends such as 808 State and A Guy Called Gerald. Tunes that still resonate across dance floors but have real soul. It came together after I stumbled across a classic UK jazz song, which I couldn’t get out of my head. I then stuck it through the wringer - adding 303s, dirt, mashed beats, the works - Starless is the product." credits
