Before we lost our minds

Before We Lost our Minds is a focused little ambient collection including three-and-a-half pieces created outside on a summer afternoon. For these pieces I built a focused modular case designed specifically to make immersive and absorbing ambient experiences from a simple source - one single plano interval from Eric Satie. Following an extended afternoon live session, this set of pieces emerged that were developed further to push them further down their own unique path - from the intense opener, to the melancholic On a Wednesday, to the more mind-expanding closer. The cover artwork was created by Brian Wiggins (@dotprodukt) using a plotter and gold-leaf overlays. This piece instantly struck me as a perfect match to these flowing and moving sounds and I am thankful to be able to share them here.
