A long-time punk band frontman influenced by Madonna as much as Masonna, his "walternative" soundscapes over the past decade--including as his anti-rock n’ roll nom de plume, Dickie Snakedick--include dozens of releases of largely improvised cinematic dark ambient horror, dungeon synthpop, rotten electronics, and minimalist death industrial, often with a not-so-surreptitious wink to his audience. Walter has released albums on USA netlabels such as NO PART OF IT, humanhood recordings, and MuteAnt Sounds.
