Overgrown weeds overshadow crumbling stone ruins. Rotten roof timbers rest where they fell. When the dense oppressive mist descends, the decaying village is hidden but for the top of the church tower. Today, the mist has evaporated to expose an endless sky, darkened by dusk. A lone fire burns where once a hearth stood. Long slender shadows flicker over exposed stones. Our visitor removes their hood. Are the stories of the haunted ruins true?
