New Heaven Tears

'New Heaven Tears' is an ambient piece inspired by water and glimpses into the afterlife. Water can symbolize a passage between life and death, as well as rebirth and renewal. It can also represent a cleansing and washing away of our troubles. This is a meditation on finding that peace through surrender and letting go. Highly reverberated guitar is used as a center-piece while it is highlighted with layers of synthesizers to capture a feeling of floating. Live cello and viola from Joasia Cieslak, Jean-Louise Parker and Miriam Wakeling adds a layer of human vulnerability and articulation to the piece.
