"Spectres" is a sonic and psychological exploration of the darkest territories of the human soul. The track stems from the need to give a voice to those hidden, secret, and often disowned sides that each of us shelters deep within. In a society that constantly pushes toward an artificial and blinding overexposure, this song moves in the opposite direction, celebrating the allure of our inner mystery that makes unique all of us.

An album of alt-rock/darkwave, exploring themes of self, image and performance in modern society
Warning: strong emotions ahead! The odd die-hard metalhead is bound to dismiss this with utter bewilderment. However, for those who mourned the break-up of HIM, this will warm their hearts. And not just them, because Jacob’s Fall are musically far more mature than Ville Valo and co. Deine Lakaien are probably the best comparison to describe the atmospheric depth of the instrumentals and the wonderfully fragile vocals of frontman Christian Faust. ‘Dying Machine’, ‘Tracks In The Sand’, ‘I Need My Girl’… One song more beautiful than the next. 8 track album, released November 17, 2023 With a sense of musical introspection, incantatory melodicism and cinematic dread Philippe Blache (from Day Before Us) goes back on the forefront with a highly thrilling melancholic drama for sonic driftscapes and devastating walls of power electronics tempered by organic ethereal vibes. Detached and evanescent melodies are battling against the obscured, unsettling, stormy and weary industrial atmosphere. Powerful internal narrations and incantatory voices at distance occasionally come into the mix. With its performative bitter anthems, its ritualistic then almost religious nature, the album invites the listener to be progressively mersed in a netwok of allusive images, investing pagan mythologies, poetical escapism and christian symbology. This is the second musical offspring signed under his own name after a prolific production under the moniker of "Day Before Us", veteran project in sorrowful dark wave neoclassicism. «Across the silence and the shade» is an essential and mournful post-ambient journey which involves an emotional catharsis. Written, recorded and produced by Philippe Blache Mastered by Giuseppe Verticchio Graphic design and artwork by Joan Llopis Doménech Thanks to Ivo Petrov, Giuseppe Verticchio, Joan Llopis Doménech, Darina Levandosska (for the narratives on tracks 1 & 2) and Pauline Poirel (for the vocal section on track 8). “Cartesio” is our darkest and most introspective track so far, a journey through darkwave, post-punk, and coldwave sounds intertwined with deep, progressive atmospheres. The song stems from a reflection on death, observed from an intimate and almost physical perspective, where the limits of the body meet the urge to keep existing. Through the lyrics, questions emerge about the uncertainty of the future, the meaning of past experiences, and what remains when everything seems to fade away. Despite its somber and melancholic nature, “Cartesio” does not surrender to desolation: in the end, a glimpse of light appears as a form of resilience that encourages us not to lose ourselves and to recognize the value of life, even in its most fragile moments. It’s a less danceable and more profound track, born from the need to give voice to existential questions and ultimately transform them into a sense of hope and resilience.
Thin Eater returns with their sophomore album, Incisor, a record that merges pulsating post-punk with industrial textures. The album navigates a vast emotional landscape, ranging from introverted reflections to outbursts of raw aggression.
Delve into my debut EP: Metanøia This project carries a personal message. Each track reflects a different chapter of my life and the struggles that shaped me. The numbering of each song reflects the chronological order in which the tracks were created, tracing the progression from the earliest ideas to the newest ones. For most of my life, I felt lost. Battling anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. I often felt like I didn’t belong here, like I had no real purpose. But through the music of barnacle boi and other artists such as Klimeks, FATE, STM, CASHFORGOLD, Sidewalks and Skeletons, Wevlth, Brothel and many more from the wave and witch house scene, I began to find meaning. Their music helped me reconnect with myself. That inspiration pushed me to get a DAW and start producing. Making music had always been a childhood dream, but I never had the means to pursue it until now. For years, I kept creating beats in my head and now I can finally turn them into something real and share them with others. I realized this is where my heart was leading me. Creating music feels like the final piece of the puzzle in my life. Metanøia means a change of mind, a transformation and this EP represents the beginning of mine. (EP file includes hidden message)
