DANCE THE PAIN AWAY

For the 20th release in the mainline NYAO series, we happily present the FIRST Windopain album (NOT EP!!). It includes stuff like DANCECORE and more DANCECORE (and some adjacent stuff).

Shattered Abyss

The Beast Bites Back

Our Second LP. Listen to it! We started recording this smashfest sometime in Belgrade with Mitar from New Mortal Gods while we were touring eastern Europe. It was a wonderful tour full of nice impressions and sensless violence and Alcoholism. Fun Times! We only managed to finish the drums there, but they were solid enough that we decided to use them and added the extra instuments in Hamburg with our man Ryan iubesc who tracked guitars and Bass at Carajo Distortion Studio in Veddel and If we remember correctly vocals and some additional stuff like the Trumpetsolo in Haemmorhage at the off ya tree studio in HH-Billbrook. Eternal Thanks.

Seven songs on a 7”. That is the proper usage of the format, in my opinion. A nice little slab of hardcore punk. The vocals are mostly sung with a nice attention to melody, which makes this much more of a pleasurable listen than if they were mostly screamed/shouted. It also avoids falling into the trap that a lot of bands like this tend to fall into by sounding dated. You can hear influence, yet it still manages to sound fresh. This one’s gonna get a lot of time on the turntable, I reckon. Matt McBracken, MAXIMUMROCKNROLL

Return of Chocky / Mammoth

Two new tunes - inspired by tape packs from Helter Skelter, Dreamscape, and those countless random rave tapes I grabbed from the Barras and shops like Notorious Vinyl on Parnie St. Add in endless memories of amazing nights in the mid 90s at the Metro, Rez, The FUBAR and Nosebleed soundtracked by so many timeless tracks. Had a lot of fun writing these. Enjoy. Thanks to Djs like Randall, Slipmatt, Seduction, Marc Smith, Scott Brown, Mickey Finn, Ramos (and MC Marley) and Billy Bunter for so so many brilliant nights, tapes and providing such huge inspiration. Mastered by Shell Yeah Audio. As ever - huge thanks to Everyday Dust for the production advice.

Two Tours, One Stage

Two Tours, One Stage = Four Bands on one amazing album. Featuring The Wasted, Suburban Downgrade, RATH and the Wiseguys, and Pig Pen. The original one, not that celebrity bs. FFO Punk Rock, societal and political discourse, bad jokes, and good times. If you were there - you're on the record. If you weren't, you can pretend you were. Recorded live via multitrack at the Tin Roof in fabulous West Ashley.

Cena za úsměv

Dno are a big part of a rich history in the Orlová (and surrounding areas) DIY scene; last year celebrating their 10 year anniversary with a truly memorable event in their homebase and region's heart in Klub Futra, and with many concerts around Europe in their journey. Also, they are super nice awesome people who I feel lucky to call friends. I am happy and honoured to take part in the release of their third album; one that has been a long-time coming, a long process, and one worthy of lots of listens to let the tunes, patterns and rhythms weave their way into your minds. For fans of heavy and emotional crust encrusted hardcore, especially of central-Eastern European and Scandinavian origin, plus the prolific and ever-reliable Zegema Beach Records. 𒆜 𒆜𒆜𒆜𒆜𒆜𒆜 𒆜 Dno: “emo/screamo hc band from Orlová since 2015” 'No racism.
