The hypnotic clockwork regularity of Berlin School synthesizers meets the ornate flourishes of Baroque composers in this 7-track psychedelic journey from the colorful gardens of Versailles to the grim scaffold where the guillotine awaits. Original compositions alternate with synth reinterpretations of pieces by Couperin, Händel and Bach. Parts of this album were featured on the Chapo Trap House podcast's historical series about the Thirty Years' War, 'Hell on Earth'.
