HC001 is our first release as 'The Humanoid Collective', an independent, open art community dedicated to celebrating creativity, experimentation and original expression in every form. This particular release is about music. It marks the beginning of what will become an ever-expanding library of music, visuals, writing, art and collaborations between our artists. A first in a series of ongoing compilations, album releases, experimental work and much more. All built around the belief that creativity should be shared, encouraged and accessible to all. We've presented our first release as a continuous DJ mix (individual, full tracks are also available) created by one of our resident artists 'bp'. Blending these individual works into a mind-bending trip that will make you feel alive again. Our collective of artists come from many different backgrounds all with their own styles, personalities and sensibilities. Enjoy! If you are creative, please get involved. Infinite, boundless, limit unknown. credits released October 25, 2026 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music by: allyxD (allyxd.bandcamp.com) Autephax (autephax.bandcamp.com) bp (bluepenguins.bandcamp.com) Drowned God (drownedgvd.bandcamp.com) Jopus (soundcloud.com/solipsis) Meuny (meuny.bandcamp.com) Periluneee (periluneee.bandcamp.com) Ptolemy (adexptt.bandcamp.com) Siyaki (siyaki.bandcamp.com) Art by Autephax & Drowned God
Second full length album "Anxi", from Croatian producer "Šmu". Croatian electronic artist "Šmu" (Shmu) creates highly atmospheric work, experimental in composition and cinematic in its environmental sound design, pulling from myriad influences ranging from Breakcore and Jungle, through Braindance and IDM, to Trip-hop and Darkwave.
"The debut album from Croatian electronic artist šmu is a highly atmospheric, conceptual work. Pulling from myriad influences to impart a feeling of occult delirium, 'morph' flows as one piece separated into 6 tracks, incorporating elements of glitch, vapor, orchestration and even breakcore. A sublime meld of cinematic grandeur and nocturnal electronic grooves, 'morph' arrives in perfect compliment to the ominous air of autumn. Experimental in composition and cinematic in its environmental sound design, 'morph' is also decidedly musical, moving from sparse, articulate arrangements sewing dread and tension to rave-infused, ritualistic, hard-hitting electronic. šmu strikes a compelling sensory experience in their synthetic, mechanical textures and application of bitcrushed distortion and disorienting modulation effects. 'morph' is a sonic journey, recounting one's transformation from false bliss to eye-opening madness . . . can you find yourself within the palette presented here?" 🡡 description by Daniel Rauch @ Vivarium Recordings 🡡
