This album is a dark journey rooted in dark ambient and dungeon synth, inspired by the Legend of the Nibelungs — a tale of curse, fate, and inevitable downfall. The soundscapes lead through a world of gods, heroes, and dragons, where greed and destiny intertwine into tragedy. The shadow of J.R.R. Tolkien also looms heavily over this work. His mythology draws deeply from Norse and Germanic sources, and many themes found in The Lord of the Rings echo the Nibelung legend — the cursed ring, the dragon, and the corrupting power of dominion. This album also serves as a distant reflection of my now-closed project Taur-nu-Fuin, which explored the darker realms of The Silmarillion. This is a return to the sources — to raw, unforgiving mythology, where there is no redemption, and the world slowly fades beneath ancient runes. Enki – Lilith Lilith is an album dedicated to Lilith — Adam’s first wife — and her exile from Paradise. It tells a story of rejection, abandonment, and solitude, which does not lead to disappearance but to persistence. Beyond Paradise remains the night — a space of exclusion, yet the only place that embraces her. The tracks mark stages of this journey. Cykle (Cycles) reveal the repetition of exile and the return to the same state of isolation. Lamentacja (Lamentation) is the first voice after loss and rupture. Za Ćmą w Noc (Beyond the Moth into the Night) marks a complete departure — moving into darkness with no possibility of return. Bez Światła, Bez Cienia (Without Light, Without Shadow) follows, continuing the descent into the abyss. Over time, night ceases to be only an abyss: in Muzyka Nocy (Music of the Night) and Krwawy Księżyc (Bloody Moon), it becomes a companion in persistence, an assigned space where existence beyond Paradise and beyond the order that rejected her is possible. Przedświt (Pre-dawn) brings neither reconciliation nor salvation — it is merely a moment of suspension before the return of night. Lilith remains marked by ostracism and rejection — consciously opposing all, yet not annihilated. Darkness is not her punishment, but a space where she can endure on her own terms. The album seeks neither approval nor justification — it is a record of deepening darkness and unbroken existence. Musically, it is raw dark ambient with elements of dungeon synth, ascetic and uncompromising, focused on the atmosphere of exile, silence, and time. Lilith persists beyond Paradise.
