Far south of the Kingdom of Illoraeth, lay a small village in the highlands. Over the course of three nights, the sky became crimson red, and an unnatural sense of dread settled over the inhabitants. On the first night, the wizard Loryndas spoke of a terrible fate, although the citizens didn't believe him, and instead took to the hills for a festival. On the second night, the village was silent, the air heavy with a horrible pressure, like the moment before a raging storm. On the final night, something terrible awoke, and dawn never came.
