Teresa Giordano was a shepherdess who lived as a recluse in the woods of a small hamlet outside the city of Lamezia Terme until her death (real or presumed) in the early 1990s.
The devouring light of the southern noon is the chosen haunt of demons, phantasmata, incubus and succubus: entities that, before being banished to darkness and night by christianity, knew no moral distinction between light and darkness.
