lo fi ambient. lo fi as in lo fidelity as in we recorded it to a phone and we forgot to turn off the dehumidifier that was blaring in the background. not lo fi as in little cute beats or whatever, not that there's anything wrong with little cute beats, to each their own.
pedal worship, ambient, lofi techno
You find a cassette in the attic of the ruins of old country home. You play it & on the tape, some voice describes in detail a series of dreams they have had in which they return to the houses they once lived as if they had just remembered it still belongs to them. Forgotten, left in the dust & dark to be vacant. They explore to find there was nothing but forgotten discarded clutter sitting throughout these homes. They dig through the clutter to find everything they have ever lost or thrown away. The person goes on to describe floating in the air at night again & again , to arrive at beautiful homes in distant places that seem strange yet familiar. Exploring these structures the person realizes this is a home they have been living for a while now. In the house, they find anything they have ever wanted. Inexplicably, the voice begins to change subject only to describe finding hidden radio frequencies that broadcast directions to towns that you can't find on maps, places that people don't know about. You write down the frequency codes as the voice shares them. The tape ends abruptly. -Cazvra
