Train to Elsewhere presents our new album. This will be a completely different listening experience than our previous albums. This work, while featuring some elements of doom metal and even stoner, takes a much more chamber music approach and utilizes heavily elements of neoclassical, gothic, post industrial, darkwave and dark ambient music, sometimes even bordering industrial noise (most of it is neither rock nor metal). A special lo-fi approach was taken to the music to outline the raw emotion that is in the concept of this album; elements of field recordings were also used in the mix. First of all, this is a record about Nature, the existential perception of nature by the lyrical protagonists of these songs. This perception is at times problematic and negative, at other times spiritual and enlightening (in the Jungian sense) yet deeply melancholic. One must travel through the shadow to reach the light, yet in the end of the journey Eternal Autumn triumphs. With this work Train to Elsewhere finishes the "Autumn Trilogy" which we started in 2020 with "Samhain".

Recently there has been a number of different doom metal compilations representing the post-soviet doom metal scene. Yet our compilation was put together with a different and original concept. The idea was to showcase both post-soviet undergound doom metal, bands that borderline doom as well as to present some heavy doom-metal tracks of non-doom bands. That is why it has not only doom-metal acts but some doomy tracks by the bands from outside the doom scene. We have a number of well established old bands like Crunch, Catharsis and even Vinny Appice (BLACK SABBATH, DIO) has recorded drums in to the song 'When The Devil Comes' by Stonehand (Russia). At the same time our compilation introduces many bands from the extreme underground to the listener. Most of them have an outside-of the box approach to songwriting and production.

Two years in the making, this is the most polished and high-effort (but not the most complex) The Eternal Returns release. It takes the layered sound of Shining, Fading, Burning, Flickering and evolves it in a more doom metal-influenced direction. WARCOE has emerged from the swirling mists of midnight to deliver their third full-length album UPON TALL THRONES.
