"Straight from the rainforest of the PNW, haunting sounds from J Moss and friends. The instrumental tracks will sit you around a campfire, the labor tracks put you on a box rolling out of town"
The lead single from the 4th Buzzard LP Hush Now, out 10/16/2026.
A dose of hopecore to light your way when the world feels crushing and dark: Zora Kirin’s debut EP releases four songs on her 40th birthday. The Bones Are Beautiful spans nearly two decades of writing, from the restless hopefulness of "Fly On", written before Zora turned 25, to the hard-won clarity of "Step Forth", written in her late thirties. That they find each other here, on a single record, is itself the EP’s central argument: that hope is not naïve, and that joy is something you return to, again and again, across a whole life. The album starts in the spring of life with Fly On in awe of the world and its bursting colours. Summer dawns with Let's Play Pretend as a newly adult body discovers love. Step Forth comes in autumn with encouragement to taste all of life before it’s gone. And finally, winter falls with Mulberry Tree, a love song from the grave encouraging the living to make the most of their own seasons. Rooted in acoustic folk and shaped by years of storytelling, The Bones Are Beautiful is an indie folk record about the long work of becoming. It does not promise the world will stop being hard. It promises something more useful: that there is always a light to be found, if only you'll look. 01. Fly On 02. Let's Play Pretend 03. Step Forth 04. Mulberry Tree Tour updates at zorakirin.com
Folk-inspired, raw acoustic tracks from the heart. Songs of love, loss and change, accompanied by 6 strings and a harmonica.
Ten indie rock tracks about dark nights, driving around trying to save a bad situation, and sitting alone in a cold room after it all falls apart. Written, recorded, and produced independently.
In the rock and roll gutters of sunny Sydney lies Jane Dire. He's a man with stories and a bunch of the finest losers you'll ever meet to sing em with. This is the lead single from the upcoming "Loser Rock" record, "Sinking Statues" references the classic poem "Ozymandias", reflecting upon the titular king's relic, “sinking statues still get poems”. Great loves have sunk before, and this love may sink too. But even if that crumbles, Jane Dire will still get his song out of it.
A shelved record, an eviction notice, and a love down the drain. Jane Dire found himself out of the scene, with nothing but an acoustic guitar and voice notes. What’s emerged is a sound that scratches old rough rock itches with a frankness that’s folk. Proposals with narcotics, 2AM philosophy fights, sex workers who cross the continental United States and inspire finance bros to transition — there’s a story for every concerning thought that’s crossed your mind. Now, he’s got a ragtag band of Sydney’s finest losers to sing em with.
Jane Dire has come to tell you stories from a sunny place turned sour. High & Low in Sydney is the second record from the loser-rock troubadour that takes the classic underside of rock n’ roll and leaves it to bake in the sandy city’s sun. From bullshit ballads like ‘Don’t Come to Sydney’ to raw emotions in ‘Uncomplicated Situation’ and love lullabies in ‘Coco’s Place’, Jane Dire has painted a picture that every Sydneysider can recognise — and use to embrace their messiest selves. Beginning with a handful of stories and an acoustic guitar, this record was first recorded as raw acoustic demos in Jane's attic, followed by a hard-edge production from producer Alec Mallia and additional recording at Newtown's The Confectionery studio. Joining the chaos as session musicians were Jake Jamieson (The Slims) and Gabriel Haslam (Manfredo Lament), making for a mini supergroup that creates the electric energy of this quintessentially Sydney record. Please enjoy your stay, and remember to use protection. Jane recommends SPF50+ and Skyn.
Ethereal transmissions of folk-based labor solidarity from the past — like holding a microphone up to a Ouija board and calling out for a porch seat in old coal town - Listening Habit
The Opposite of Everything gathers together The Infinity Chamber's previously released singles into one eccentric, ragged, and beautiful whole. From grunge-scarred folk to surreal psychedelia, the album forms a constellation of outsider songs about identity, disconnection, longing, and the strange joys that flicker amid chaos. Dissonant yet elegant, raw yet poetic, this is a collection that reflects The Infinity Chamber’s international refusal to be categorized - carving out a sound both familiar and exotic. Dissonant, poetic, and alive in the chaos. Uneasy and beautiful - just like life.
Blind as the bat, mad as the hatter Red as a beet, hot as the hare Dry as the bone The bowel and the bladder lose their tone And the heart runs alone... A sumptuous and artistic rock song about flowers and the inner shadows of the mind, “Toxins” drifts between beauty and unease with an almost dreamlike intensity. Drawing inspiration from the mythology and toxicology of the infamous night-blooming plants associated with delirium, visions, witchcraft, medicine, and death, the song explores the strange territory where transcendence and psychological darkness overlap.

This is a simple folk song, with a simple theme: an old woman waiting on the shore for her man - who will never come back
Songs about unrequited/lost loves, romantic regrets, and friendship laments—but the wounds are well-scabbed over and the scars tell dynamic stories. There's a freedom to moving on and accepting what didn't work before and entering a new era. Self-love is still love after all.
