Originally written, recorded and performed back in 2015, first released and mastered October 2020. After some series of events the release was removed from streaming platforms. Now 2026. With a fresh remaster / touch-up and new album cover, this feels like no better time to re-release this! Digital Download includes "Re-titled - Remastered" a rare bonus track that I don't think was ever released. "Bright, upbeat, and warm. Eco-Aura is finally showing off the true colors of the project. The idea was to give my project Imisu more of a body. As in adding full band elements. The full fleshed out sound is a mix of the multiple layering of guitars, reverse effects, and the blending of electronic percussion and drums with a live kit performance. Listening back to these tunes is time traveling for me. When I have more space to create I will be writing more songs in this style."

Some tracks are more elevator music while others sound like sci-fi movie soundtracks. Slow paced and melancholy electronic tunes with a splash of vapour punch. This track I wrote shortly after watching Superman last year in theatres. That movie was awesome easily in my top 3 of best super hero films. But the needle drop at the end really got me. Punkrocker by Iggypop and the teddybears. Made me want to make my own song similar in that matter, sort of that small victory feeling like a huge win and a theme of self discovery. As well as being content/happy with life despite everything. And so, a year later I finally finished it. Originally, I had a saw wave for the lead melody, but honestly I chose against it last minute, just EQing it with everything, it clashed against the rest of the track. Then with the frutiger aero aspect, felt like it was the perfect vibe/aesthetic to pair with it, which you can see in the lyrics and a little bit of the sound design.

The dead of night, February 32nd, 2000. aliens made brief contact with Earth. Unfortunately, the space dwellers misfired multiple abduction beams to the wrong rooms. The lone mothership (the fathership absent at the time, abducting cows) took custody of fifteen motherboards. Within the ship, the computers were shaped into something completely new. Optical drives became optical illusions. Hardware and software became some ware in-between. Monitors were monitored. Plastic cases and glass screens became vibrant colors, newfound textures. Apologetic, the aliens returned the computers to their homes, forever upgraded. pov: its 2004. you just checked into your new dentist office. your mp3 player and gameboy are dead but they have a gaming center and a big aquarium. life is good. This album is a love letter to the aesthetic "frutiger Aero" (also known as Web 2.0 Gloss ). Frutiger Aero is named after Adrian Frutiger - (who created the Frutiger Fonts commonly used alongside Frutiger Aero) and Windows Aero (the UI theme of Windows Vista & 7) which spread outward and influenced many other companies' design choices of the era. A broad style prevelent in tech and design roughly around 2001 - 2013. This album highlights the subgenres "Frutiger Eco" & "Frutiger Aurora". We hope you enjoy this accompaniment to the aesthetic.
