Two disorders. Two wounds pretending to be architecture. Paraphilic Sadistic Disorder. Paraphilic Masochistic Disorder. Viskos Apathie erects two slowly crawling monuments of delirious harsh noise wall—vast slabs of diseased electricity, grinding bone-dust through the teeth of a dead machine. The walls breathe. The flesh becomes static. Something enormous decomposes behind the speakers. No climax. No mercy. No exit. Only pressure. -Sir Kuliktavikt
Depersonalization. To no longer inhabit oneself. To drift listlessly through fleeing days, a powerless spectator to one’s own nonexistence—an extinguished automaton, yet boiling quietly with anxiety beneath the surface. The ultimate disincarnation of being, suspended inside an ever-deepening vertigo. A muffled perception of the world. The sensation of witnessing everything else from behind a pane of glass—dirty, greasy, tarnished, dust-choked, veiled beneath the cobwebs of a thousand years. To feel— no. To KNOW —that our gestures are no longer ours. That everything surrounding us is merely subterfuge: some futile, haunted theatre performing itself for nobody. To live inside a waking nightmare. To attempt, often in vain, to anchor oneself through obsessive rituals and unhealthy compulsions. Anything to remain here. Anything to prove that here still exists. My hands tremble. An opaque fog settles over everything. Voices arrive from very far away. Mechanical. Deliberate. Calculated. Faces become representations of faces. Rooms become representations of rooms. The body continues its little procedures without asking whether anyone is still inside. And somewhere behind the eyes— nothing answers. ḙ̴̲̲͈̜͚̈́̐͋̄̑̚͜͝m̵̳̩͙͓̲͈̙̳̾̐̋͘͜͜p̴̛̺̲̭̩͖̞̝̘͚͑͛̃̓̅̐͊̈́̕ț̸́͛̏̎͘ý̵͎̥̪̣͊̈́ ̸͖͍͖̞͈͉̝̭̌͊̓́́̉͛̚͜v̸̧̛̀̈́̅͂̂̓̕a̶̙̖̘̓̅l̵̗͍̲̪̻̖̫͋̉̀̉ṳ̵̥̩̙͈͛̋́͋̂̽̑̆̇̋e̵̛̹͖͓͌̋̉̓̑ Listening to this album—so grey, so dim, so drained of all warmth—from minimal noise wall master Empty Value feels like sinking directly into the torments of depersonalization and derealization. A wall not erected before you, but somewhere between yourself and the world. And gradually, quietly, terribly— between yourself and yourself. A masterful work. -Sir Kuliktavikt
Ambient and harsh noise walls for naughty girls and boys.
Inanition and Sado Rituals joined forces to proclaim sovereignty in the ancient HNW fashion of truly Roman harsh noise cruelty.
When the Electric Sorcerer in Bat-Wings arriveth—mouth crammed full with dead cities and sepulchral teeth—the whole Universe becometh his prey-thing. All things grind within Him. Monuments. Human-insects. Sheet-metal. Rust of the world-that-was. Fauna, flora, the wind which shall moo no more... All swallowed into the Great Electrical Wrongness. All chewed. All becoming inside-meat. Big jaw snapping in the vacancy of the coming Abyss. CLACK—CLACK—CLACK. O great jaw. O idiot jaw of the after-world. Acid slobber dribbling down through the injured centuries, melting the bruised flesh from whatever still pretendeth to have a body. Skin goeth first. Then name. Then memorybone. Then the little secret animal behind the eyes. And blood. And liquefied grey matter. Running forever forever down down down a spiral staircase carved directly into the spinal column of eight billion vanished victims of the Subterranean Catastrophe. THE MAW REPLETE WITH IRON SCREWS, REMNANTS OF GUM-FLESH & AGENT ORANGE—YUM YUM, SAITH THE MOUTH -Sir Kuliktavikt
ECHØVEIL Records is immensely pleased to present Problem Acquisition, an exclusive new offering from Whore's Breath — forty-three and a half minutes of absolutely masterful HARSH NOISE WALL, dripping with explosive feedback and strange electrical secretions, simultaneously abrasive and unexpectedly gentle on the eardrums, much like a good Dominican rum is gentle on the throat: it burns because this is apparently one of the ways pleasure has chosen to communicate with us. The sound here is raw, yes — but strangely liquid. Viscous. Libidinous. A great lubricated mass of electricity slowly burying body and soul beneath its impossible weight, ploughing through both with considerable enthusiasm. Electricity dreaming aloud about chthonic entities? Alcoholic verdigris scrubbing the small intestine? Perhaps. Perhaps this is a hunt. A GRAND ROYAL HUNT of the old world. The horns have sounded. The horses are foaming. Poodles have been nailed to the earth beneath golden crosses and are now tearing themselves in half in their eagerness to reach the bloody prey. But why bother killing the pheasants? Look upward. The sky has already taken care of everything. Apocalyptic and swollen, veined with glistening yellow-fuchsia streaks, it has quietly committed genocide against everything unfortunate enough to have lived beneath it.
