Gix - Groove For Soul EP

Rhythmic Steps returns with its 30th release, welcoming Gix for his second outing on the label. Across these five tracks, he shows a few different sides of his sound without overexplaining anything. Gix's world has a very specific character, small sounds, little shifts, strange details that somehow hit deeper than they should. Sometimes it is just one tone or one tiny movement in the track that catches you and stays there. The grooves are direct and easy to get lost in, but there is always something personal underneath.
