welcome to 'safe space', an EP contemplating loss, moss and acceptance. a collection of lo-fi but lush songs about coming to terms with yourself and reclaiming your voice through making peace with your circumstances and submitting yourself to the unknown.
This is the first one of an upcoming set of single-track releases. Like our previous songs, synthetic soundscapes are combined with a rock instrumentation. This also includes the lead acid bassline which is played with a bass guitar loaded with a lot of effects. In contrast to the most of our other songs, this one comes in a dark and gloomy mood.
Our mini album "Roaring City" comes with four Indietronica productions combining two musical flavors which have only little in common except the name: Acid Rock and Acid Trance. Beside synthetic soundscapes made with various hard and software synthesizers, electric lead and bass guitars are always used as well as an electric organ. This mini album includes a selection of the songs which we have produced after the release of our first album "West Meets East" eight years earlier and therefore represents a long time period. The artwork was created by Ursula Zepter and shows a digital collage of some buildings in Offenbach; a smaller city close to Frankfurt. Beside the digital edition, there is also a limited vinyl release; some in black and some marbled ones.
Dark Planet is the debut chapter from our rock band, a descent into a world where distortion, atmosphere, and sci‑fi tension collide. Each track feels like a fragment of a lost transmission — raw guitars, pulsing electronics, and the sense of wandering across a planet that’s both hostile and strangely familiar. The album moves between driving, abrasive energy and suspended, cinematic stillness, always carrying the feeling of a landscape in decay, illuminated only by the glow of its own mystery. It’s music for those who like to explore the edges: the ruins, the shadows, the unanswered signals drifting through space. This is our first step into the Dark Planet universe — a place of noise, reflection, and the quiet thrill of the unknown.
