With this album, I tried to break away from everything ambient is usually expected to be. It’s not just atmospheric music — it’s a fierce act of protest against warlords, corrupt politicians, and the dark forces treating human lives like their personal ATM. I didn’t “compose” these eight tracks — I literally vomited them after months of nightmares, insomnia, and sleepless nights haunted by the reality of war. Sonically, the album is built on microtonal structures and a sound design approach that’s not meant to comfort, but to disturb. This is music for those who refuse to close their eyes.
The Live Jams series features long-form live performances in album track order, along with less frequently performed songs to fill in the gaps when possible. Each release is a complete seamless transitions mix, fully compiled from the Bootleg Gizzard releases and occasionally other extant bootlegs.
