sorry for the delay. i had been on a creative block for a while. this album is the filtered tracks of a LOT that i wrote. different from the previous ep, unmarked, and the previous deleted ep (because it was nonsense), clouds feel heavy, i didn't put straight influences in my mind while making it. sure, i had influences- i can name a major one for each song- but it wasn't as much a big deal as it had been. and i think that helped me with the creative block. this ep, i think, is one more step further on my path to indie glory. and another love letter to the things i listen to. "occasionally" is the most unmarked-lite song here. it has got all of the fall breaks stuff- shoegazey guitars (is it a stretch? i will assume not), post-punkish rhythm section, catchy melody... "with your eyes" is a funny song- i had already decided it was rubbish and was going to leave it rotting in my hard drive, until i found myself singing it. countless times. it is catchy as hell. i had to leave it in. you people can tell me what you think about it. i MEAN that. send me an e-mail: [email protected] feedback is always good. so are other e-mail subjects. "somehow" was my attempt at a "velocity girl" / "what you do to me" type of song. you gotta love an economic pop song. and "everybody knows i've gotta grow up", as i discuss further in the individual description, is inspired by acoustic radio session bootlegs from the late 90s, from artists such as noel gallagher and richard ashcroft (okay, primarily these two). i hope it was worth the wait. not just your wait, but my wait. i missed fall breaks, man.

"Here’s the debut album by one of the most promising Macedonian bands which follows right after their two EPs and singles from last year. Corrosion step up the game on this one and you can definitely hear the devotion and maturity that this very young group has. Their sound quickly brings to mind many indie bands from the 1980’s onwards, their resemblance to SUNS (the early 1990’s legendary band from Skopje) being most apparent, but there’s no doubt Corrosion are on a journey of their own. This 40-minute release is like their very own sound playground where everything is thoroughly explored. They jump between songs with such flair and stubbornness at the same time, but also give each song a definite mark. They sing in Macedonian and English and the album is full of rich instrumental sounds, segments, and arrangements. But above all, they play and write songs with such ease you rarely hear among teenage bands. It's no coincidence that Corrosion come from the small town of Bitola which has been the home of many talented Macedonian artists through the years and with this album Corrosion seriously exceed all possible expectations. No doubt the best of this young group is yet to come.
