Huggs by ThirdTemple. Relaxing, meditative, piano ambient music.
8 track album
A dreamy, atmospheric alternative track with a melancholic yet uplifting feel. “In Wonder” blends emotional vocals, shimmering guitars and a spacious, cinematic soundscape, creating a reflective and immersive mood.
Sit with a cat, enjoy the music. Visit my webpage for the full art project: https://forcats.cc Make sure to leave a comment in the guestbook :3 This album is the first result of my search for an improvisational style of piano playing allowing me to enjoy playing music, rather than focusing on the outcome. Everything is recorded live with only mastering as post-processing.
minimalist ambient piano and synth
Pseudo-classical children music
Hypercondensed miniatures pulling influence from the polyphony of early music, the textures of ambient and lo-fi music, and the sparseness of composers such as Anton Webern, Luigi Dallapiccola and György Kurtág.
******* Fantasy Piano Variations Short pieces of Piano & Violin with subtle synths layers recorded for indie video games. Minimalist. I will add more gradually. Released May 8, 2025 Composer: Solar Phasing Produced by Woodoo Prod [Sounds From Earth] *******
Debuted live during Amek Bummer Nights 2019 and recorded in a single take in February 2020, Nocktern's tape debut for Amek, NoStalgia, proves a watershed moment for the project as it is the last recording before its transformation from a solo act into a duo. Careful and precise, yet live and free, the three movements found on the piece herein freely cross and amalgamate disparate genres and aesthetic influences to a result that makes us long for places, feelings, and times that will never be. The opening minutes of NoStalgia are abstract and atmospheric, with thick synth layers gradually being introduced to build up to an almost 80s synth wave climax in the middle of the over 20-minute-long piece. With percussive elements darkening the soundscape, not unlike in Mind Over Heart, Nocktern’s contribution to Vanishing Standards (2019), the piece slowly fades into its calmest and most poetic part – a delicate piano coda that quietly communicates with the reflections of all the transformations the track has gone through before it all disappears in silence.
7 track album This small album was created during the first pride themed 7 days of VGM composition challenge (June 2021). I wrote one song per day for the 7 days of the challenge. I took this opportunity to express myself and write some small vignettes rather than to write VGM, since the prompts this month really resonated with me. Hopefully these songs resonate with you. Each day represented a color of the flag: Red - Life Orange - Healing Yellow - Sunshine (visibility, belonging). Green - Nature Blue - Serenity Violet - Spirit Day 7 - Pride: Pride means different things for different people, but at the core of it is hope for acceptance & equality. My last piece for this challenge ended up being more introspective as I thought about what Pride means to me.

Succeeding last year’s album 'Wallflower Pedestrian', 'ROUGE' offers a continuation of themes of cyclical motifs and visually invoking titles. The new album continues the visual narration structure of its predecessor, with a slight shift in focus to introspection and inner emotions. Between the swelling peaks of density and melody, the listener is able to feel and breathe through their own emotive state or visual imagery. Such imagery is accompanied by the varying titles of the tracks, which all weave into 'ROUGE'’s theme in different ways. The overall palette of Noir et Blanc’s (Amber Ramsay) sophomore album is much more thorough and refined compared to previous works. The piano was tracked live at The Barn Recording Studio in Plainland on a 6' Kawai Grand Piano, with improvised piano accompaniment from fhae (Ellena Ramsay) on two tracks. The bareness of the piano is contrasted with layers of Prophet 6 and Minilogue, which solely fill the sonic space on tracks ‘Rythme, Toucher, Tourner’ and ‘Centre de la Terre’. Among the tonal diversity lies modular drones arranged with Spirit Lights (Joshua MacGregor) on many of the more subtle tracks. “The album came together in a quite quick and seamless way compared to much of my previous work,” says Ramsay. “It feels special having done it with a slightly collaborative approach. To me, the songs feel like they each have their own world inside them but they’re very much open to interpretation.”
I’ve always loved Lights in the Sky by Nine Inch Nails: the slightly out-of-tune piano, the calm vocals, and Reznor’s dangling melody, all resolving in a final lingering note that hangs just long enough before dissolving into Corona Radiata. Here is my rendition, attempting to harness that same feeling as it drifts into its own meditation in End Song.
9 track album This album is a detour from my previous work normally rooted in Berlin School. One of my later music influences is Erik Wøllo, in particular the album Gateway (2010). On this album I have fused a combination of soundscapes with both piano and electric guitar, hopefully with a nostalgic, ancient but more ethereal feel. There are still darker shades to be heard however, reflecting my other influences. Font photograph by me. (My late mothers crochet cover).
13 track album These piano and string based tracks were composed after the loss of my Dad and my Mum a few years later. This album is an introspective result of writing music at a difficult time that we all go through at some stage. The Passing is the most beautiful track on CLOSING OF TIME. The texture sounds like a Max Richter piece of music, ditto for the short and very sensitive A Brief Memory, with touching melody lines that make evasive incursions, making sure to disturb our feelings in the process. For those who like grief and emotional music, as well as sad and dark like Max Richter’s but in a more electronic context. Sylvain Lupari (June 30th, 2022) Front photograph taken by me. (On the bus to a rainy day in Manchester. I am unsure if my Mother had passed away at this point. That time period is now a blur in my memory. I used to catch the bus to go and visit her in hospital in Manchester MRI).
This EP tells a tale of strong women who stand up for nature, people and love. It takes place over a number of years and covers many themes: the beauty of nature, the natural good of people as well as the bad, how we treat difference, refugees fleeing persecution, passing wisdom down through generations, and the underlying dark element behind far too many people's lives. The songs blend in to one another and are written to be heard as one piece, in order, but they should stand up on their own. The instrumentation is kept similar throughout - piano, strings and flute. There are no drums or guitars. A different version of 'The Witch' appears on the previous album 'Love Is What You Want'.
