A little batch of Major-key riffs, layers, and solos that would honor the Great One (any great one) in the form of some musical sacrifices. If you like the second half of the classic indie-rock tune "Nothing Ever Happened" by Deerhunter, then you have arrived at the correct location. The record, and most of my playing of late, has been obsessed with that tone and mood.
Buttery postrock with some shoegaze influences, extended jams, wall of sound, diddly-doo neighborino type of EP. Influences for this record include: Bill Orcutt, Deerhunter, Yo La Tengo, And So I Watch You from Afar
"If you want peace, prepare for war..." Play it loud. Download, follow and share if you're not afraid to face the truth.
Released right after Garden of Delights, 'Under Guthrie's Starbed' was my attempt at doing my version of a prog rock song so to speak. I wanted to really challenge myself and create something big with the limited budget I had and this is the result I came up with. I wish I put this on Garden of Delights as the finale but it is what it is I guess, I'm really proud of it and I'm disappointing how little response I got for it. If you enjoy blasting your mind open while strolling on the beach then I really recommend giving this a listen and as always... TURN ON, TUNE IN, DROP OUT! -Millard
My debut EP! I originally made the first song as a demo for a drummer I was going to audition for but It then kinda spiraled out of control and almost 3 weeks later I wrote enough material to make short album worth of music. If you enjoy the likes of Slint, XTC, Shellac and Godspeed You! Black Emperor than I encourage you to give it a shot. Turn on, tune in, and drop out -Millard
The soundtrack for the 2026 award-winning 30-minute animated film "Kurry: A Love Story." Influences include Ahmad Jamal, Shellac, and 1970s TV show themes like "The Barney Miller Show."
first half is guitar, kinda bedroom post rock, second half is larger leaning into avant garde and noise
This album is about what it is -> Disclosure, I've been huge fan of SCI-FI and UFOS since forever... and I've been into the phenomenon since at least 20 years, NHI is here whether you accept it or not, Non human presence is with us and is beyond of what we've been taught. As Matthew Brown said We live in the MATRIX, a controlled "reality" where we have "Free speech" but we're not free of INQUIRY. So this is an ode/musical rendition to the whole journey and what have been discovered since the beginning of this. The sound I wanted to make with this album was more Synth oriented and less "Electronica" (but still some present ofc) so more organic sounds incorporating real recording Drums rhythms (arranged by me ofc) and synth leads/pads All Music Composed / Arranged / played by me. Full album, released October 16th 2026. 8 songs of minimal, calm guitar compositions.
The debut EP from my solo melancholic post-rock project Memory Curse. These five songs are unashamedly breakup songs. I took equal inspiration from emo and post-rock, with a tinge of prog in there too.
"Mushroom Eyes" is a collection of manipulated guitar and field recordings all captured on the artist's phone. They aimed to achieve a more organic sound than on previous releases, capturing the detail of their surroundings in the outside world and the different atmospheres they evoke - both comforting and, at times, creepy. Released by Cruel Nature Records, cassettes available here: cruelnaturerecordings.bandcamp.com/album/mushroom-eyes
Our latest single, thank you all for the support! :)
Civic Hall, the duo of Craig Tattersall and Euan Alexander Millar-McMeeken follow-up their acclaimed 2023 debut, 'The Trembling Line' with an immersive new album titled, 'The Dead Bell.' Where the debut teased pop structure buried deep within layers of sound collage, Tattersall and McMeeken have streamlined the delivery, tightened the structure, and turned out ten slow-burning, modern post-rock ballads that cut as deeply as they soothe. With Alex from Quiet Details at the mastering helm, Andrew Mackenzie once again lends his gorgeous visuals, along with the heart of McMeeken's lyrical and vocal delivery, and the absolute wizardry of Tattersall's arrangements 'The Dead Bell' will be a hard album to forget.
Documenting the flawed deciphering of the ineffable, the unknowable, the eternity of the present moment experienced in centered clarity. Recorded memories of past lives re-spoken in tone, spurred by the conception of the opposing forces in nature. The light side and the night side of nature and the respected use of their values in balance with the Law of One. Awakening inner realms and awareness of the dream state, where one becomes the active navigator instead of being carried away by ever flowing currents. In languages symbolic of the greater mysteries within and without, opening portals amongst nature’s diaspora and stepping into a state of grand realization and reclamation outside all confines of linear time. Mirroring the initiate’s journey, where illusionary veils can be lifted from great universal mysteries, so distorted by time and form once bound to the dying light of separation. For consciously imbibing lesser poisons to uncover worlds of unwinding chromatic patterns and textures through heightened sensory stimuli. For standing amidst megalithic structures of confounding magnetism and remembrance. For seeking inner and outer peace in all dimensions through truth and hermetic wisdom. For the transitioning between objective and subjective realities where one's own devachanic experience unfolds in The Lunar Temple. Spiraling into Void ever upwards.
My debut album under the 'John Titor's Time Machine' name. I was in a kinda weird time in my life where I was stuck doing a dead end job and wanted to achieve my dream of becoming a famous musician lol. I played guitar pretty much all my life but never committed to it since I hadn't been diagnosed with ADHD at the time. Once I got diagnosed in 2023 and began taking medication I started practicing guitar everyday and got to a point in early 2025 where I felt confident enough to make and release my own music. I released my EP first (called 'Another Thousand Summers for the Glittering World') in February and got such positive feedback that I decided to immediately start working on my first album. After a six week crunch I released 'Garden of Delights' to the world and it's been history ever since. Thanks to everyone who has supported me in the past 2 years and I hope the John Titor project lives to see another year in the big 2027! Turn on, tune in, drop out -Millard!
Early 2000s college dorm post-rock.
Recorded between August 2025 and January 2026, 'John Titor’s Time Machine' is the culmination of six months of hard work, many sleepless late nights, and obsessive refinements and revisions. It is a concept album about John Titor (a time traveler from the year 1998) being trapped in an alternate timeline where Joseph Smith successfully turned Mormonism into the biggest religion in America. Soundtracked and influenced by the likes of Squid, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and The Police, it chronicles the tale of a lone time traveler unwilling voyage into a eco-brutalist hellscape that is inspired by the works of Ray Bradbury and Aldous Huxley! Be prepared to be taken on a journey and to look beyond the veil that blinds us all. Turn on, tune in, drop out. Safe travels from the other side- Millard
