Timeline

Timeline is a collaboration between SHMIKESSS and Status Zero, first born in Berlin in 2025 and refined over the following year. Blending progressive trance with dub techno, the track moves on rolling percussion and a deep bassline, surrounded by atmospheric, acid-laced synth work that slowly shifts within the space around it. The idea behind Timeline came from the psychedelic exploration that reality may not be singular - that alternate versions of the present could exist alongside one another, moving through different timelines at the same time. Hypnotic, immersive and built around repetition, the track explores that feeling of slipping between parallel versions of the same moment. Timeline forms part of Status Zero’s forthcoming album coming soon.

Rosetta EP (2025) 24 Bit

2 track EP (Running Time : 16:53) It’s not often that I release singles or EP’s, and I rarely edit, remix and rework tracks into something else, but there was two tracks on the album ‘Transitions’ that I liked and felt they would benefit from an edit. I removed the intro and any long build up sections and focused on the uptempo core of each track. From Transitions, Track 1 Rosetta Glass became ‘Glass Heart’ and Track 4 Transitions became ‘Solid Heart’. So this EP is really an extension of that album. Both are beat driven with roots in modern Berlin School but with some trance like elements. Front photograph by me. (Glass heart paper weight with a rose).

This Eternal Famine

Amaethon is a project of Jake Wayman (Tulpa Twin, Altdahn, Calcraft, Saturnian Gateways), based in Austin, Texas. 'This Eternal Famine' has a theme of "post-apocalyptic radiological desolation, focusing more directly on individuals after society collapses. Musically it takes heavy influence from black metal of the Slavic nations and post-black-experimentation of North America", with plenty of ambient, acoustic, atmospheric interludes alongside the challenging song structures, delirium and delight in healthy balance. It was a very illuminating experience being able to dive deeper into 'This Eternal Famine', and I thank Jake for trusting me with his sounds and concept. ///// 1. What We're Left With 08:30 2.
