"Providence" is the third album from Raúl Lupiáñez under the name SomewhereOut, written over the course of two years and built as a collection of stories, each one drawing from the pages of Lovecraft and Poe. It's not a literal tribute, but a way of letting those stories keep breathing through sound. Lupiáñez builds a heavy, orchestral-rooted progressive sound, with guitar and keyboards as the connecting thread, joined by a cast of guest vocalists who bring distinct shades to each chapter of the record. Everything leads into the closing, title track, an eighteen-minute piece that works as both summary and culmination of everything that came before. The result is a record that demands time and attention, one that doesn't fully reveal itself until it has finished telling its last story.

Download includes 2 hidden bonus tracks recorded during the album sessions (Voivod cover "The Prow" & Celtic Frost cover "Juices Like Wine"). Originally released in 2005, "Acidity" served as another milestone for Kekal; a transition between the extreme-metal territory they had already roamed about since the mid 1990s and the more avant-garde & experimental direction they were heading at that time. A unique and diverse Kekal album, with many different emotions and thoughts displayed both in the music and lyrics. It presents itself like a kaleidoscope, with every individual song cannot represent the whole album but it stands as a part of the album's general concept. Following a successful European tour in 2004, Kekal returned to their hometown to record this album. Influenced by the raw energy they presented while playing live, it was decided that the recording would get more "live-feel" settings to capture the energy, with rhythm guitars being performed while standing up without using headphones, and tracks were unedited with no “punch-ins” and copy-paste. Musically, it emphasizes on melody lines and guitar solos. "Acidity" is the band's second most selling album after 2003's "1000 Thoughts Of Violence", and got similar high-ratings from media reviews as well as overall listeners' reception. "1000 Thoughts of Violence" was released in 2003 by Fear Dark (The Netherlands), Undying Music (Indonesia), and Rock Express Records (Serbia). In Indonesia, the album was distributed by Alfa Records from 2003 - 2004 that saw the band got a mainstream Indonesian record-stores distribution. This album received numerous praises and great reviews from metal media all around the world. Many of them gave almost maximum points. "1000 Thoughts of Violence" is also Kekal's most selling album with close to 10,000 physical units combined (not including digital downloads), and the band toured Europe in 2004 following its successful release and reception of the album.
