Vimanah III

This project is based on music, which is said to be occult and very ancient. Some would call it intelligent music. Ragas can be considered a form of ritual, both for the listener and the performer, using this vehicle to get as close as possible to their inner self. This vehicle, these vimanas, are a way to traverse time and space, sometimes even amidst intense noise, as well as during very moderate vibrations. I used rock and ambient drone music to get as close as possible to the phenomenon of raga. -Vimanah --- This night will swallow you. Tired souls flicker through it, wavering like orphaned flames, grieving without memory of what was lost. A primordial drone hums beneath everything, older than language, older than stone. Meditation shaped like nothingness. A descent to the center of everything, where centuries crumble into powder and epochs that never existed leave their fingerprints on the air. Dead ragas drift toward uncertain elsewhere. The beauty and abrasion of terminal cities breathe through cracked concrete. Columns of shadow-birds plunge from invisible rafters, feeding on the ecstatic ribs of the expiring. An infinite dormitory awaits. Lichen and moss carpeting its corridors. Euphoria fossilized in patience. Bone stacked beside forgotten recollections. Sleep without dreams, yet saturated with them. -Sir Kuliktavikt
