"ronka" curls up to fit exactly into the void you carry at your core. it whispers fragilities too small to be seen. it feels aches too great to be faced.
"Mushroom Eyes" is a collection of manipulated guitar and field recordings all captured on the artist's phone. They aimed to achieve a more organic sound than on previous releases, capturing the detail of their surroundings in the outside world and the different atmospheres they evoke - both comforting and, at times, creepy. "march 2021 – september 2021, personal diary, audio-journal. musical conversation with stuff I listened to. going on a field trip. grungy, fuzzed-out vanities, nu-metal r&b + skits for the quiet hour. 8 and 12 are demos I deleted accidentally and couldn’t finish..... she sat there in the park again, and"
d e m o s captures an era of Rivulets that hasn’t been documented elsewhere. During the first formative year of Rivulets, an important part of the band was bass player Jason Seckel, whose minimal long sustained notes style can finally be heard for the first time by many fans. You get to hear early versions of songs like “four weeks” and “past life” along with unreleased songs like “sick love” and our personal favorite “anyway.” - Silber Records If you dig this, please checkout the rest of their catalog.

This time we go back in the year 2008 and dig into our archives, revealing at least for us, a precious little piece of Macedonian music history. KLO (Keen Lone Observers) started in Prilep as a music relationship between Sonja Dimitrioska and Dean Zmejkoski, that turned slowly into a band once they moved to Skopje. They had their first concert ever at Kanal 103 in April 2006 (check the bonus item) and occasionally performed until 2009. And that was it, short and sweet. Recorded live at Kanal 103 radio, 30.11.2008. KLO on this release are: Sonja Dimitrioska - vocals, flute Dean Zmejkoski - guitar Nikola Drvoshanov - bass Goran Poposki - drums Recorded by Alen Hadzi-Stefanov Mixed by Dean Zmejkoski Cover photo by Kristina Velkovska Cover design by Tanja Vukobrat

During the recording of this album, the toilet in the downstairs bathroom overflowed and continued to run for awhile. I think one of the kids did it, but sometimes we wonder if tree roots have claimed the pipe. Jenny heard the sound of trickling water coming from somewhere in the house and assumed it was just me making music. The sound of the shop vac swallowing a half inch of standing toilet water is also musical. The spelling error in the title of track 4 was a mistake, it bothers me, but I'm going to live with it.
Maybe Shoegaze, Maybe Indie?
