Steve Rufus, operating under the quietly unhinged banner of Russell’s Teapot, doesn’t compose so much as cultivate. These four tracks feel less “made” than coaxed into existence, like strange organisms fed on static, rhythm fragments, and the residue of half-remembered dreams. Noise mutates into texture, texture into hallucination, hallucination into a kind of logic that almost makes sense if you tilt your head and let it seep in. This is post-dada in compost form.
