"Passenger of the Galaxy" is the latest third consecutive album of the Surbahar project of Pavel Stoychev - a long-time musician and composer, known to us from numerous Bulgarian and international projects. This Surbahar debut on Mahorka features a variety of electronic beats, deep bass lines and experiments with sound. The combination of ethereal atmospheres with ethnic and classical instruments and vocals positions the listener as a traveller, floating through the endless currents of the universe... Timeline

Timeline is a collaboration between SHMIKESSS and Status Zero, first born in Berlin in 2025 and refined over the following year. Blending progressive trance with dub techno, the track moves on rolling percussion and a deep bassline, surrounded by atmospheric, acid-laced synth work that slowly shifts within the space around it. The idea behind Timeline came from the psychedelic exploration that reality may not be singular - that alternate versions of the present could exist alongside one another, moving through different timelines at the same time. Hypnotic, immersive and built around repetition, the track explores that feeling of slipping between parallel versions of the same moment. Timeline forms part of Status Zero’s forthcoming album coming soon.

BUBBLES I

Pacific Highway [Trance, 131 bpm]

This is a tune whose first version (with a sharp kickdrum and an annoying robotic voice) I once wrote in Reason while feeling down due to some not-so-pleasant events in my life, and I rushed to post it on SoundCloud. I later used this track to practice mixing techniques, periodically coming back to try out new tricks and either improving the sound or making it worse, haha. In 2022, I revisited it once again (and got rid of the robot), and this is the version that’s now posted here. At the moment I'm recreating this tune in Ableton Live. Techno / Electro / Progressive versions are on the way, I'm going to add them here in the future.

Trance Noir

My first full album. Took me around 3 years to complete (yes I am slow). Not sure what the genre of my music is so I call it Trance Noir. If you do let me know...
