SPECTRAL RITES | EP Three ritual transmissions from Unearth Noise. Violin snakes through dense percussion and low-end pulse on “Within the Mind’s Eye.” Electronics and tribal rhythms open a portal on “Starcasting.” Guitars carve the final rite on “The Crown.” Industrial edges, dark ambient haze, and exploratory electronics collide into something that feels unearthed rather than composed. Yienksa and Kot-shito carve out a strange, flickering territory: tribal yet unplaceable, playful yet incantatory, as if the jams stumbled out of some hidden “fourth world” and decided to dance before dissolving. The SP-404MK2 reshapes these fragments into something simultaneously intimate and hallucinatory—short bursts, but dense with color, dust, and heat. -Sir Kuliktavikt
