https://singingsorrows.bandcamp.com heart decisions this album was created using just a single loop consisting of five instrumental tracks. i’ve always really enjoyed creating alternative versions of tracks, so i wanted to take it a step further by putting together an album made entirely of nothing more than the components of a single short loop. the initial 25-second loop consisted of five tracks: two different pads, a violin, woodwind instruments and an experimental patch in vital. nothing complicated - just a simple, melodic piece of music. these tracks were then manipulated in every possible way, and that’s how this album came to be. i really enjoyed this approach and plan to use it in my future work as well. i hope you enjoy it, and thank you for listening.

https://singingsorrows.bandcamp.com five guitar tracks inspired by a warm and vibrant spring. over the past week, i’ve often found myself reminiscing about my childhood, i always eagerly awaited the arrival of spring. near my hometown, there’s a river that, every spring when the floodwaters rise, spreads out for many kilometers, flooding all the nearby fields. and i would find small islands of land in the middle of the water and sit there for hours under the awakened sun, quietly listening to the warmth of the breeze, the flow of the water, and watching as everything around me sparkled with millions of glints. the cover photo was taken on august 17, 2025, during a walk near lakhta center, on the shore of the gulf of finland in st. petersburg. for some reason, that day, i was also remembering that time from my childhood. __________________________________________________ all music and cover art by Constantine H. march 11-15, 2026

Desolate Horizons - Imagining Peace (Extended Versions)

Over the years, many people have written to me to tell me how much they love this or that track, what these songs mean to them, when they listen to them, or when they'd like to have this or that track playing. As with any artist, I always enjoy reading such things from people, it's always interesting to learn about people's experiences with my music. When the album ‘Somewhen’ was first released, one person who bought the album left a comment about how much they loved the track 'Imagining Peace', describing the feelings in a rather interesting way and saying that they really would have loved it to be much longer than 3 minutes and 26 seconds. I was reminded of this recently, 18 months after the album came out, while the track itself was originally written back in October 2022, which feels like a lifetime ago. So I opened the project again and made an extended version of the track, as well as an alternative version that is slower, more meditative, and overall kind of enveloping and warm, inspiring memories. the cover photo was taken during my winter trip to vladimir and suzdal. one day, we went to see the church on the nerl river. it was frosty and sunny, and not cold at all, despite the temperature being around -18 degrees celsius. to get to the church, we had to walk about 2 km across a field and partly along a frozen old riverbed. on the way, we saw sellers selling scarves, dolls and other traditional russian souvenirs, which were much cheaper here than in the city. i bought myself and my mother some fridge magnets with a picture of the church on them. there was also this lone horse that could take you for a carriage ride across the vast field in front of the church. it looked a bit lonely and depressed, and people just came up to pet it and take pictures. i guess that day and its ambiance somehow stuck in my head, and i feel like this music perfectly captures that memory.
