the 4th chapter of the OST series. dreamcore. the poolrooms. weirdcore. and the backrooms. all pulled this sense of nostalgia and connection i've been missing for a long time. dreamy nostalgia and tongue-in-cheek eerie pairs well and connects all the themes in a satisfying way. it always made me feel at home in some weird way, which inspired this series. and yet here we end with dreamcore. another fun internet created aesthetic that pulls from such a vulnerable and innocent place. this album has aimed to capture that feeling in somewhat of a love letter to the better times and nostalgia. when everything seemed simple, new and fantastical. you can always return to the past but no one will be there.
Created from old synths and some simple digital patches. Warped and modulated using some experimental methods to capture a cohesive sound throughout the album. Simple melodies and lullabies that bring you back in time.
A collection of Crossing Bridges songs from the past. Some dating as far back as 2012. Re-imagined into something passive, cohesive and nostalgic - all at the same time. A mish-mash of ideas and sound blurred into a post-mallsoft / vapor environment. I really love how these came out. How not only do they bring up so many feelings of nostalgia for myself because I've such a connection to the songs used. But to be re-created in this way to become such a nostalgic sound as a standalone piece is really something I'm proud of. I hope you find as much comfort in these songs as I do. somewhat of a follow up to WEIRDCORE OST
The dead of night, February 32nd, 2000. aliens made brief contact with Earth. Unfortunately, the space dwellers misfired multiple abduction beams to the wrong rooms. The lone mothership (the fathership absent at the time, abducting cows) took custody of fifteen motherboards. Within the ship, the computers were shaped into something completely new. Optical drives became optical illusions. Hardware and software became some ware in-between. Monitors were monitored. Plastic cases and glass screens became vibrant colors, newfound textures. Apologetic, the aliens returned the computers to their homes, forever upgraded. These select few audio files remain a reminder of the short contact made, an amalgamation between human and extraterrestrial. released August 4, 2026 Produced by Wilstocrone 2024-2026 Produced in Ableton Live 11 Lite Composed primarily from Sample CDs from Internet Archive, odd cassettes from second-hand stores, and recycled music demos from 2020 Tracks 4, 7, and 9 produced as assignments during School Of Song's Workshop with Daniel Lopatin in February 2026
