"Likblek EP" is playfully titled around the Swedish adjective "Likblek" (that literally means "corpse-pale.") which figuratively describes someone who is extremely pale because of shock, exhaustion, illness or fear ("pale as a ghost"). The four tracks are based on these four situations. Illfundig I & II are two hard-hitting, cheeky stompers with spaced-out, rushed synth riffs. Kravallen notches up the tempo a bit, and with fast drums and a synth sequence it's a machine funk unit bound to destroy any warehouse. Runda med Hunden is what happens when an ever-evolving, sub heavy synth hook is paired with insanely loud, reverb-washed percussions and an occasional stab. Rajtan tajtan is a playful, reduplicative phrase used to describe a lively, rowdy party or commotion, a fitting theme for the tracks on this EP. Rävspel has become a staple in our live set: a dry, dense, and cheeky workout that just refuses to let up. Raljera shifts the focus to clicky, smattering percussion riding over a steady low-end groove, topped with a mischievous synth line. Pyspunka builds its energy around a panicked sequence and a raw, distorted foundation, while Krokben keeps that distortion, while opening up more space and depth in its twisting, dimensional synth work.
