Portland

New Hampshire is a project featuring Portland musician Jared Fiechtner and Seattle musician Scott Roots. On their debut full-length, Actually, I've Never Been To.., simple, folkish songs are transformed by modular synth soundscapes and four-track tape loops, together expressing an ineffable sense of yearning and midlife melancholy. Jared and Scott have been playing music together for a few decades now, and this is a unique collaboration between them. No AI on anything. Ever.
