things left unsaid

THINGS LEFT UNSAID - YOU COULD BE THE MOON Some releases quietly slip through the cracks. We think this one deserves another listen. Originally released digitally in 2023 as part of Origami Girl’s Lost Archives series, 'you could be the moon' was recorded around 2016, during a period when Yuki was making music under different aliases, including EIGHTXNIGHT and Dream Girl, while also beginning to develop the Origami Girl project. Unlike the more energetic sound often associated with Origami Girl, 'you could be the moon' takes a quieter, more emotional approach. Built around guitars and keyboards, these instrumental compositions have a delicate, intimate atmosphere. It's a quiet record, but there's still a certain weight behind it. Hazy nights, distant memories, quiet moments, and things left unsaid. The album was originally released as part of Origami Girl's farewell and Lost Archives project, and somehow feels like a forgotten corner of the No Problema catalog. So we wanted to bring it back. things left unsaid - you could be the moon https://noproblemadigital.bandcamp.com/album/you-could-be-the-moon The album is currently available on Bandcamp as Name Your Price, and free download codes are also available through our Band Codes page. You can also find it on all major streaming platforms. If you've never listened to this one before, give it some time. Put it on late at night and let it play from beginning to end. --------------- If you want to explore more of Origami Girl's work, we also recommend these playlists: Origami Girl COMPLETE DISCOGRAPHY https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0ZoRWIQpGPIVl9Ahh2mxPu from here it's hundreds of miles to home https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1JDfGWp8ESctIstuVpk0v2 --------------- Thank you to everyone who takes the time to listen, discover these releases, and support the label.
