Death Shapes

Death Shapes is a truly brilliant, thudding, crunching, flickering mechanical beast that really shines amongst the industrialised, dark electronic realm it sits in, due to the wide variety of influences outside the style. It mashes together the heavier, more punishing rhythmical side and subtlely mindwarping dark ambience very fluidly to deliver a complete immersive experience. It has been a pleasure to chat to and work with Mordant Arrow on this; to climb inside the sounds to master it, to make a video for one of the tracks, and to lend ideas for the aesthetic building up to the release of this big album. He had already contributed to Owlripper compilations, as MA and Hathradiah, and I consider myself a fan of his work and ideals. So, I hope if this sounds even remotely like your bag, that you will give 46 minutes of your time to letting this one unfold.
