Prepare for neural adjustment via sonic attacks as NEGLECT delivers ramraiding heavy distorted and warped noise with rumbling drones, covered in disorienting and debilitating layers. There's more to it than just a chaotic approach, with head-clearing spaced out ambient soundscapes appearing in the overall scenery as this demonstration goes on. NEGLECT is about transformation; about never stopping during your quest to figure out yourself and your creativity, and about collaboration in motion to achieve that which helps you breathe and be. Less a demo; more a long-playing statement of intent. "Each sound has been digitally-processed several times over, in search of waveforms unheard, and then the demo was captured ‘out loud’ in a live room. Some of the tracks collected here are the digital versions, others use a mix of the digital and raw sound to create nice blends and transitions. The art, much like the music, went through several transformations - an idea, a black-and-white pen-and-ink study, a powerful acrylic painting on canvas, then digitally scanned and processed further into the cover image (and versions) you see before you." ----- Tracks 1-8 = The first EP from NEGLECT.
