There's a long history between me and Phil of TEND; connected by friends, conversations about the universe and all within it, music and live music especially, seeing each other's bands, connected at distance by both fun and tragic loss, at the end feelings leading to cathartic years and journeys, questing for inner and outer peace, and appreciating every single moment of good that wanders into your life after all that went before. Cheers a na zdravii to him and Emma, Matt from TEND, and Paul (Stand-up Guy! What a band!) for being a continued part of the crazy musical journey going on in my ears throughout my life, with this album as immense as the title suggests. 'I'm Swimming' is 'dedicated to the memory and works of Owen David Pegg'; something in the liner notes from TEND I wanted to highlight, as a friend, music & gig collaborator and ex-band member of Owen's.
