the Mimic

TEND combines strong songwriting with metallic, mechanical industrial clang, flickering rhythms with catchy synth lines, gritty oxygenated atmospheres; and in this EP, touches of the bizarre, glitch, raw and abstract. I welcome TEND back to Owlripperland, with 'the Mimic', released December 26, 2025. Presented here is a taster of tunes, versions, demos, remixes and video that tease their forthcoming album, but also works as a unique mass in itself. 'An uncharacteristic departure from usual cosmic themes. Focusing instead on the internal, the 'Mimic' tackles frustrations and complications of dealing with somebody fully unaware of forces that drive their behaviour.
