PARADELIA ON/OFF

“On/Off” was written, recorded, and produced in 2007. It sat finished for nearly two decades before its 2026 release. Between 1981 and 2014, the focus was simply recording, playing venues, and exploring new music — never the business side of it. Like all of Paradelia's music, “On/Off” was sleeping until now, because it is time. That's the meaning behind the title: time to turn on. This music has something to say, to scream into today's complicated world — voices need to be out, and be heard now. Rock! Always. Paradelia was coined in 1980 by fusing “paranoia” and “psicodelia” — paranoia and psychedelia — into one word. That fusion became the band's identity for the next 34 years. Paradelia was born in Mexico in 1980 and carried a single name through more than three decades and several lineups, until the band closed its chapter in 2014. At the center of it all was one songwriter and producer running a fully equipped recording studio that, in its time, tracked Top 5 acts in Mexico — the same room where every Paradelia record was written, played, and mixed. What remains today is the music: original recordings made between 1980 and 2014, some of it never released. DigitalPicnicz is the independent label built to finally give that catalog a life outside the studio walls — starting with Paradelia's own material, both the unreleased originals and, going forward, cover recordings that keep the songs in motion. The name comes from the 1980s too: heading out with a portable digital recorder — one of the first of its kind — to capture streets, people, noise, voices, whatever was out there. A digital picnic. Written as one word, it stuck. DigitalPicnicz is a one-person independent label dedicated to preserving and re-releasing a rock catalog built over 46 years of writing, recording, and believing in the music
