hidden in plain sight

hidden in plain sight is my fifth EP. inspired by a trip to an eerily liminal shopping centre after dark, and heavily featuring field recordings captured with a portable mic clipped to my jeans, this EP is one of my most hands-on releases yet. this EP was created over the course of three hours. i don't claim it's my best, but it's definitely not my worst, either. i hope somehow it blends the best of my previous attempts at field recordings with the best of my initial EPs. i thought it was nearly done, then i reworked multiple tracks because it didn't feel quite right. i hope it paid off. i had a lot of fun on this late-night trip, and i hope you enjoy listening to it. i would love to release an album this year or next, and i think i should start conceptualising that. but regardless, this is a wonderful return to form. love, autumn willow x
