rhoslug a.k.a. Rhoslug the Audiomollusk is the manifestation of years of thought, musical digestion, and a sudden outpouring of creativity. It was the guitar playing of Leo Kottke that first pushed him to get interested in music. It wasn't until later in life, after putting music on hold, that he rediscovered the wonders of making music. Captured by the sounds of DJ Shadow, Massive Attack, Portishead and the like, he decided to explore this new direction. It is this new love of the old, the obscure, and the forgotten that inspires the music he creates. Digging deep in the sample crates, he crafts songs that match the stories in his head. Bridging the gap between IDM, instrumental hip hop, and ambient, Rhoslug the Audiomollusk is the exploration of sonic background set to the rhythm of the streets.
