And My Soul, Lord, Take

I'm not really good at describing music, or the process of creating it. I worked on this album in two phases. The first took place from August 1st to August 3rd, when I rented a small recording studio and used pretty much every instrument they had there: a marimba, pianos, and a bunch of other things I didn't really know the names of. So almost every sound you'll hear on this album came from a real instrument. The one small exception is the background drone itself, which was created using my own engine that I've been gradually building over the last year or so. The second phase was editing, and I can't really tell you much about that, because my entire process basically consisted of: "Does this sound good? If not - Ctrl+Z." Somewhere during that experimental second phase, each song slowly came together. In the end, I'd like to believe it turned out pretty good. Give it a listen, and I hope you'll think the same.
