Using Dante’s Inferno as a template, I envision a similar journey for our protagonist, the Astronaut. He finds himself in a different kind of Hell; the lunar landscape. You can hear his vehicle struggle over vast, craggy plains. He plunges onward into the unknown. His mind and soul are breaking. Dante used a vision of Hell to recognize and reject Sin, lest he become eternally separated from God. Our Astronaut pushes forward blindly towards madness…Godless..
