Lacridronesa is a Requiem Drone Mass (a drone composition for the dead). Deconstructed classical samples unravel and form ambient noise walls that maintain the sorrowful, mournful character of their provenance. If you listen closely enough, you might catch choral fragments of the original samples breaking through. Volume I includes a wintery, dark ambient selection of four movements honoring the life and work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, released on the 234th anniversary of his death. “Lacridronesa is a meditation on dissolution, a vigil held in the ruins of remembrance. A work where every resonance feels anointed with the cold incense of destiny, as though we were all gently chloroformed by the stigmata of our own becoming. A requiem for the things we loved, for the things we lost, for the things we could never name.” -Sir Kuliktavikt
