Go Home, They Miss You

New micro-ep from Burial Cake. "Take this as a sign. You should be home by now…go home they miss you…" It's funny what the universe chooses to show you, especially when you actually see it. Do disasters need a point? Do you need purpose when everything loses direction? Stay out all night, but go home in the evening they miss you. A title derived from a small piece of graffiti. An encouragement that left Blake Edward Conley (ex-droneroom) aka Burial Cake pondering for its purpose for days. "Go home, they miss you." Is it a small sign post pointing in opposite directions? Or maybe, is it a map of small steps that only a local could properly decipher. Are you walking towards home? Are you walking into a dead end? Or are you maybe trapped in a Möbius strip that leads you back to the beginning over & over & over. Made for Silbermedia’s 5 in 5 series, "Go Home, They Miss You" is a miniscule piece of a much larger concern. It doesn't have any answers, but maybe you can queue it up & finally let your feet lead you wherever you are headed next.
