Kastali

Kastali is the Icelandic word for "castle". The album consists of 3 songs that unfold slowly through subtle movements. It's characterized by small shifts in tone, texture and space that take place slowly and quietly. It's minimal and built from gentle drones, with restained layers that evolve over time. It doesn't seek your attention in a grandiose way, instead it invites you to listen closely and attentively. Kastali is a soft haven you can return to again and again, to seek refuge and solitude behind the castle walls. The castle itself is ancient and quiet, its walls solid yet welcoming.
